Vlakte Marathon

We (Langeberg Athletics Club) proudly present the Vlakte Marathon road running event annually. Since the first event back in 2001, it has grown in popularity and prestige to such an extent that it has become a qualifier for the Comrades and Two Oceans!

Hessequa Explorer’s Garden Route, Eureka Mills and the BVSA Group count among our kind sponsors. Without sponsors we will not be able to present this terrific event.

In turn, we donate part of the proceeds to the Cancer Association of South Africa, since we highly value the work done by Cansa.
